Prize Money for the ExtremeXL
The Prize Money for the ExtremeXL Lagares 2008 has been set.
The prizes for the first 10 places are:
1st place: 2.000 euros + two trophies
2nd place: 1.250 euros + two trophies
3rd place: 750 euros + two trophies
4th place: 400 euros + two trophies
5th place: 150 euros + two trophies
6th place: 125 euros + two trophies
7th place: 100 euros + two trophies
8th place: 75 euros + two trophies
9th place: 75 euros + two trophies
10th place: 75 euros + two trophies

ExtremeXL Lagares 2008
The ExtremeXl is an Extreme Enduro event that takes place around the Portuguese town of Lagares. This year this event will be held on the 9th of March.
This event is very unusual because each competitor is part of a two members team in two different motorcycles and both need to arrive at the end to complete the event. This is a time trial style event and the winner will be the team that completes the event in the least time.
The event this year will follow a 50 kilometres course through very rough terrain and it will take approximately four hours for the first team to complete the course. It is expected that most of the teams will not arrive at the finish in the six hours time limit.
It is expected that the best Extreme Enduro riders of the world will be present because of the excellent challenge this event represents and also because of the excellent prizes available for the first best ten teams.
